Project Name: Runway Extension and Associted Works at Sangster International Airport
Location: Montego Bay, Jamaica

The extension of the runway of the Sangster International Airport, the widening of Taxiway ‘E’ and installation of a Jet Blast Screen at the western end of the expanded Taxiway ‘E’.

The project also required the design and implementation of a number of associated works, i.e., relocation of main roads (to include bridging structures); relocation of water supply mains; relocation of overhead utilities and shoreline protection works.

NOWAL was sub-consultant to the lead consultant for the provision of project management services for the design and contract administration of project to include; design review services, liaison with service providers; preparation of project schedule and cost estimates, project presentation services, procurement support services and construction supervision services.
